Basic explanations of levels form "Participant" to "Gold-expert"
Participant: The rider has been exposed to the Theory of the “Riding System” but he/she has not demonstrated a capacity to apply the system on normal riding conditions
Bronze - Basic: The rider has a good understanding of the System and he/she focus on applying it. Consistency is not present all the time and several points need further work
Silver - Competent: The rider has empirical knowledge of the System and applies it most of the time. The rider needs to work more on few points and gain additional confidence in safe riding.
Gold - Expert: The Rider knows the System in theory and in practice.! The rider is capable of maintaining for long period a safe and competent method of riding respecting the traffic rules and the other road users. He feels confident in most of the situations. The further work is refinement of minor points and routine application.
This “overall evaluation” is issued at the end of the workshop as help for the rider to further improve competence and safety. The Certificate of Participation and Overall Evaluation have no legally recognized value and cannot be used as proof or demonstration of competence or teaching. They are just element of contribution to a correct self-evaluation and a promotion toward safe, responsible and competent riding. Training workshops are designed to make riding in Turkey safer and therefore more pleasurable. Pilots attending the course with the only desire to receive certificates and rating levels will be quite disappointed:
